In our endeavour to create a sustainable and safe environment for our future, we continue to explore new advancements in technology and processes. While expanding our industrial horizon is a priority, we are also focused on making our factories and surroundings as eco-friendly as possible. A Ralson Conservation Initiative that started with planting 500 trees a month has led to the plantation of over 3500 trees in the last three months alone. And our plantation today covers over 7acres of land.

Water holds a key position within our process inputs. Through its application in reactor quenching, equipment cooling, pelletizing and steam generation, water is an essential element of the plants’ manufacturing processes. At Ralson, we recognise our responsibility towards this natural resource and hence our commitment towards water and waste-water management is paramount.
Our water and waste-water management program, therefore involves extensive conservation measures beginning at the source point of water to its re-entry into the environment. We leakproof, we measure, and hence optimize water consumption. Our Effluent Treatment (ETP) and Water Treatment plant (WTP) ensure that water is disposed in accordance with regulation and environmental norms. This recycled water is then used for agricultural irrigation, industrial processes, and groundwater replenishment.

We strive towards minimizing emissions into the atmosphere. NOx and SOx are two key pollutants present in industrial emissions that wreck havoc on our environment. At Ralson, the plants' infrastructural design, process input and raw materials are crafted to ensure minimization of such hazardous gas emissions. Controlling measures, such as tail gas analysis, off gas analysis and the consistent feedback of the concerned team on manufacturing processes, enable us to measure, control and improve the plant, its systems and its emissions constantly.
